NORTH Ayrshire Police have confirmed that they have made an arrest in connection with an alleged robbery in Stevenston on Saturday morning.
It is alleged that a male entered a petrol station in the town's Boglemart Street with a knife and made off with a sum of money.
A police spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged robbery in Stevenston on Saturday, May 6."
The man is expected to appear in court today (Tuesday).
