TWO LOCAL women recently celebrated reaching milestone birthdays - with another of set to celebrate a big day next week.
John-ann Gillespie, known to family and friends as Joey, turned 100 on May 16 and had a day of celebration at Caledonia Care Home with family members and staff there.
And Margaret Craig, who is also a resident of the Care Home, celebrated her 105th birthday just a few days later.
Joey says that the secret to her long-life is clean living, good food and happy times.
And there will be another big birthday as a resident turns 103 next week in Caledonia Care Home.
