A 51-year-old man has been fined £375 after behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and threatening to murder a man in Irvine.
Mark Drysdale Shaw, of Forde Crescent in Stevenston, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week where he pled guilty to one charge.
On February 28 at Irvine’s East Road and Long Drive, Shaw attempted to induce a man during the course of his employment to reveal the whereabouts of a man.
Shaw then threatened to murder said man.
At Long Drive, Shaw approached the man he threatened to kill, uttered threats of violence to him and pursued him in his car and drove close to him. Shaw was fined £375 to be paid at £10 per fortnight from July 12.
