Kilmarnock Sheriff Court
A MAN has appeared in court charged with allegedly assaulting a woman in Ardrossan, with intent to rob.
Martin Middleton, 34, from Ardrossan, appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday.
He was charged with assault with intent to rob after an alleged incident in the town late last Wednesday night.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination.
Middleton was remanded in custody until his next appearance in court, which is expected to be later this week or early next week.
