BREAKING: Woman's body found in Saltcoats
THE body of a young woman was found in a Saltcoats property last night (Monday, July 31) and police are treating the death as unexplained.
Officers received a report at around 8pm of the body of a 29-year-old woman having been found within a building in Green Street.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which officers confirmed they are treating as unexplained at this time.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
