THE SCOTTISH Cup will be at a fundraiser being held in support of getting a Bobby Lennox statue in Saltcoats.
The famous trophy, which was won by Lennox himself an impressive eight times, will be on display at a race night this weekend.
The Get Bobby Lennox a Statue in Saltcoats campaign posted on their Facebook page this week: “Really excited to announce we will have one of the oldest football trophies in the world at the race night, the Scottish Cup, whose record holder is none other than Saltcoats own Bobby Lennox winning it eight times!
“Get your tickets now and see it up close!”
The event is at St Mary’s Hall at 7pm on Saturday, August 5, and will include music and karaoke. Tickets are £5 and are available from Elms Bar and Cavani’s West End Cafe
