THE sun shone on Stevenston for this year’s Ardeer Gala Day, rounding off a fantastic week of family festivities.
Children and adults enjoyed the range of stalls, fairground attractions, entertainments, refreshments, and more at the event on Saturday, August 5.
The lead-up to the Gala Day was equally as exciting, with a week packed full of festivities. Events in the run-up to the day included a movie night, family sports day, and a family bingo.
And of course, the fun-filled week culminated with the Gala Day itself, which took place at Ardeer Centre.
Last year’s Gala Queen, Harley Gibson, handed over the royal crown to Victoria Ross. True to tradition, Victoria was crowned Ardeer Gala Queen 2017 at midday. This year’s Page Boy was Josh McPherson, and the Princesses were Emeli Nightingale and Hollie Ewing
