LOCAL dance school Dance Mafia had some very special and exciting news when one of their competition teams, the “Maniacs”, were selected out of thousands of applicants to dance at a national event.
The group have been chosen to dance on the main stage at Dance Show Live in hunt for the nation’s best dance act.
This prestigious event takes place at Glasgow’s SECC where they will be battling it out with some of the best dance groups in the nation including acts seen on Britain’s Got Talent.
Dance Mafia’s Maniacs already hold the title 3rd Best Hiphop act in Britain and are undefeated this season.
Coach Amyleigh Cavanagh said: “These kids are unstoppable. The fire and passion they have for dance and competing is amazing to see, they are like a wee family. They are all friends outwith dancing and this shows when they dance, they have a bond that is something special and are very, very excited about being picked for this amazing competition. It is such an honour.”
