A MAN placed a woman in a state of fear or alarm after heavy breathing down the phone to her and making inappropriate comments.
James Frederick, 25, from Stevenston was found guilty of one charge after trial at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
The jury found him not guilty of one charge and passed a verdict of not proven on five other charges.
On various occasions between December 21 2015 and January 14 2016 at his home in Trelawney Terrace and elsewhere, Frederick engaged in a course of conduct which caused a woman fear or alarm in that he repeatedly made phone calls to her, repeatedly made sexual remarks to her and repeatedly breathed heavily during the phone calls.
The case was adjourned for a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Assessment until the end of September. Frederick was bailed.
