A MAN has been remanded in custody after admitting to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards his wife and two children.
The 39-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
On August 23 at the family home in Saltcoats, the man shouted, swore, uttered offensive remarks, acted in an aggressive manner, threw household items about, and placed his wife, daughter and son in a state of fear or alarm.
Sentence was deferred until September 11 for reports.
Bail was refused and the man was remanded in custody until his sentencing.
