THE annual North Ayrshire Athletics Club 10k was a huge success once again despite the wet weather.

The sold out race saw over 500 dedicated runners pound the streets of the Three Towns and try to get that elusive PB on a flat and scenic course.

First home was Swansea Harriers runner Jonathan Hopkins in 31.20 followed by Kenneth Neill in 35.08 and Niall Fraser in 35.30.

Ian McIlwraith was the first NAAC runner home in 38.34 and Laura Wallace was the first female and 17th overall in 38.41.

Congratulations to everyone who took part from all at the Herald.
