STEVENSTON’S Danielle Joyce has won Scottish Disability Sports (SDS) Swimmer of the Year 2017.
The 21-yearold was awarded the Brian Dolan Memorial Cup at Stirling Courthouse Hotel.
She was presented with the trophy by former Scotland football manager Craig Brown CBE, who is the Patron of SDS.
Danii said: “I am proud to have received this award as it recognizes deafness in sport as a disability which is often lost to the public as they cannot see it."
