A 19-year-old girl is getting her hair shaved at a fundraiser in support of Macmillan Cancer this tomorrow night.
Jo Holmes from Ardrossan is going to ‘brave the shave’ on Friday, September 22.
The student’s hair shave is part of a fundraising night at Ardrossan Masonic and will include a disco, a buffet and a raffle, all for just £5.
Jo’s mum Claire Holmes said: “She thought it was a great charity and it does a lot for people suffering from cancer and helps their families. She thinks it’s good to raise money for charity and she could raise money by doing this.”
The fundraiser starts at 7pm and Jo will Brave the Shave at around 8pm. Entry to the event is £5.
