14-year-old boy dies in Ardrossan
A 14-year-old boy has died in Ardrossan, police have confirmed.
On Sunday evening, officers were called to an address in the town's Eglinton Road after they received a report of the death of a 14-year-old.
A post-mortem will be carried out but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "At 6.05pm on Sunday, November 5, Police received a report of the death of a 14-year-old boy in Eglinton Road, Ardrossan.
"A postmortem will be carried out in due course."
