TWO cars were badly damaged after a crash on a busy Saltcoats road on Saturday afternoon.
Around 2pm, the incident occured on Saltcoats’ High Road, directly outside of Tesco.
Luckily, nobody was taken to hospital as a result of the smash although one person was checked over at the scene.
Emergency services remained on the scene for a number of hours as traffic was directed.
Police confirmed that nobody had been reported as a result of the accident.
