Billy Mitchell, Jim Montgomerie and Kerry Clark, did a sponsored walk up Goatfell to raise money for a boxing gym.
A HARDY bunch recently tackled Goatfell on the Isle of Arran in aid of Councillor Jim Montomerie’s IMC Project
The project, which is a Registered Scottish Charity, is working towards renovating a building in Saltcoats with the view to making it a community boxing gym.
The majority of those who made the trip represented the Clyde Coast Ladies and North Ayrshire Men’s Domino Leagues.
Domino Chief Billy Mitchell is pictured with Ladies Representative Kerry Clark handing over a Cheque for £1002.50 to Cllr Montgomerie.
The gloves were donated to Jim by none other than Prince Naseem Hamed.
