Man dies after taking unwell in Ardrossan
A MAN has died after he took unwell in Ardrossan this morning.
Around 11.30am, police were called to a report that an 83-year-old man had fallen ill in the town's Glasgow Street.
Emergency services attended but unfortunately then man was prounounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 11.30am, police were called to a report that an 83-year-old man had taken unwell in Glasgow Street, Ardrossan.
"Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances."
