THE raffle in support of Ayrshire Children’s Services took place at Saltcoats’s TSB branch recently.
On November 24, Patricia Gibson MP attended to draw the raffle for ACS which is fundraising for the new skills and play centre in Ardrossan.
ACS is working in partnership with TSB to raise funds to help kit it out. The managing director of ACS, Marianne Greenway, thanked the local community for the donations, including Garfield’s Tapas in Ardrossan, Sheilgha of Younigue make up and Steven Brown Art. A donation from Ayrshire College was made from a raffle run.
A final total of £412 was raised. On December 10 the staff and children from ACS will be doing a Santa Saunter along the shore front starting at the war memorial Ardrossan and finishing at the Cafe @ The Station which is below the current ACS offices.
