Princes Street's level crossing (Google)
PRINCES Street in Ardrossan will be closed to traffic this weekend as Network Rail work on the level crossing.
All vehicles, including the numerous buses that use the route, will be diverted as the road closes from 11pm tomorrow night (Saturday) and won't re-open until 6am on Monday, December 11.
This will be the first of three closures with planned works taking place on Saturday, January 13 and Saturday, January 27.
Train services between Ardrossan Harbour and Ardrossan Town will not be affected.
