Over £100,000 of cannabis was seized last week in an early morning raid by police in Saltcoats.
Around 5.50am on Thursday, December 7, Police Scotland officers executed a search warrant at an address in Saltcoats.
A cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £109,000 was discovered within the property in Sidney Street.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and detained in police custody in connection with alleged drugs offences.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Martin Prendergast from Saltcoats CID said: “Drugs and the people who supply them have no place in our communities and officer work every day to gather intelligence to tackle this type of criminality.
“Support from members of the public is absolutely vital to our work and we will always look to act on information they provide.
