A SALTCOATS teenager took on a mammoth task for the Ayrshire Hospice - and raised almost five times her target.

Devon Cunningham, 16, who is a pupil at St Matthew’s Academy, took part in a charity Skydive to raise money for the Hospice in memory of her beloved gran, who would have celebrated her 60th birthday this year.

Now Devon, above right, has been down to the Hospice to hand over a cheque for £2,344.70, smashing her original target of £500.

Devon is pictured with fundraising officer Stephanie McLaughlin from the Hospice and the pair are pictured in front of Devon’s gran, Shirley Cunningham’s mural there.
