THE LATEST event to raise funds for the Bobby Lennox Statue Campaign will let the public see the Saltcoats legend in action.

On Saturday, February 24, St Matthew’s Academy will play host to Celtic v Real Madrid... from 1980.

The iconic game from almost 40 years ago will be shown in its entirety on the big screen and highlights from the 1967 clash between the footballing giants will also be shown on the day.

Tickets for the event are just £5 and there will be sweets and juice available for the whole family.

Previous events to raise funds for the statue have sold out quickly so make sure you get your tickets before it is too late.

There will be special guests present on the day and a chance to win a signed football shirt too.

To get tickets, contact the campaign team on Facebook or Twitter by searching for @BobbyLennox67 or by emailing bobbylennox1967@gmail.com
