THE report carries ‘Town Specific Projects’ which looks at certain facilities people would like to see in their towns as well as developments and management of certain issues.

The Three Towns are each different and unique in their own ways so the wants and needs of the townsfolk are unique, here are what people want to see in their towns:

Ardrossan - Toilets for Ardrossan South Beach, a dog agility fun park at South Beach, a park at Central Avenue with swings, accessible equipment, MUGA, a skate park, outdoor gym, lighting, new seating areas and raised flowerbeds and more things to do for younger people.

Saltcoats - boat trips and watersports from the harbour, better quality shops – nice café or wine bar, developments, a major attraction or focal point, big screen advertising at Sainsbury’s and an open amphitheatre at the harbour.

Stevenston - Something for kids to do after school, Stevenston Cross – investment and better quality shops and the Millhill area needs a clean-up.

Developments for the towns that are mentioned include a new Ardrossan Academy campus, a new swimming pool in Ardrossan, a hotel in Ardrossan, youth clubs at the top end of Stevenston and a stalled Space or redevelopment of Garven Road gap site.

In terms of management, there is just one issue identified for Saltcoats and it is to make the car park at the train station free again.

Ardrossan has a few more including tackling antisocial behaviour at the Princes Street Hostel, dealing with litter on South Beach and parking management of South Beach.

Stevenston punters are clear - they want more visible police and better mental health services for the people.

Do you agree that these developments and facilities should be the priority?
