Manse Street, Saltcoats
A MAN was taken to hospital at the weekend after he was knocked down whilst on a mobility scooter.
Around 10.25am on Saturday, January 20, a 70-year-old man was driving on Manse Street, Saltcoats when he rode out into the pathway of a car from between two cars and was knocked down.
The pensioner was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment to a minor cut to his head.
Police confirmed that nobody had been charged as a result of the incident.
