THIS year’s Ardrossan Academy Burns Supper proved to be another roaring success.
McKenzie Smith opened the event on his pipes and their very own Miss Mitchell closed with Auld Lang Syne on her accordion.
This year’s event included the traditional Burns poetry and speeches led by our student leaders but also incorporated a number of musical items and some highland dancing.
The H.E department were on hand to produce a beautiful Bill O’ Fare with cock-a-leekie soup followed by haggis, neeps and tatties and finished off with some home-made shortbread, all washed down with some Irn-Bru.
Performers and guests all enjoyed this evening of Ayrshire culture.
Our photographer John Keache was there to capture some of the guests and performers.
