Sean Reid, Chairperson of Short Stature Scotland commented: “After the meeting with Police Scotland, we felt empowered. We will report future Hate Crime incidents without fear. The input from Colin gives us the confidence to back any members who need to report Hate Crimes..”

The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety charity at the former Barony St John’s in Ardrossan offers self defence classes to vulnerable people. Volunteer Manager Alan Bell said: “We were delighted to provide this “taster” weekend for members of Short Stature Scotland and of Restricted Growth UK and we look forward to welcoming more of their members to Ardrossan in the near future.”
