CHILDREN at St John’s Primary in Stevenston enjoyed a Scottish interactive day recently in celebration of Robert Burns.
Parents came along to join in with the activities, which included arts and crafts and baking.
The youngsters made shortbread and created their own thistles as part of the event.
Head teacher, Karen McAllister said: “It was a Scottish celebration with cross-curricular links.
“We invited parents and carers into the school to share in the learning.”
Judging by the pictures by photographer John Keachie, it looks like everyone had a fun-filled day, check out our paper this week for more!
