THE team at the Neonatal Unit at Crosshouse Hospital is continually moved by the kindness of the families that use their services.
And this month, they’ve received several donations from families of babies who they have cared for.
Chairman of Glencairn Fitness Centre in Stevenston, Bert Payne, has grandchildren who have spent time in the unit and he wanted to show his gratitude by raising money at a Christmas raffle.
The raffle raised £302, which was presented to the unit earlier this month by Chris McMahon and Jacqueline McKinlay.
The unit also received donations from families in Ayr and Kilmarnock.
