A 39-year-old woman has admitted to repeatedly making abusive phone calls to a man and his partner.

Kelly Fitzsimmons, from Stevenston, pleaded guilty to one charge last week at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.

Fitzsimmons behaved in a threatening or abusive manner from her home in St Stephen’s Place and at Trelawney Terrace in Stevenston, and elsewhere on July 21 2017.

She repeatedly phoned the man and shouted, swore, screamed and made abusive remarks to him and his partner.

The case was adjourned for reports until March 27. Fitzsimmons was bailed and will return to the court on that date for sentencing.
