AN ARDROSSAN social enterprise has been nominated for an award for its fantastic children’s birthday parties.

Arty Party Crafts is the brainchild of Pamela Macpherson and has been thriving in the town’s Rowanside Terrace for just over a year and the arts and crafts centre has now been put forward for a gong.

Specialising in events for youngsters, the centre has became a community hub for locals to gather and complete craft workshops, attend parties and have fun together.

Owner Pamela says that being nominated for the award ‘means the world’ to her as she tried to go the extra mile for the parties.

She makes handmade decorations and personalised decorations for each and every party to match the theme requested.

Pamela said: “Being nominated really means the world to me as I feel I really try and go the extra mile with every birthday party I hold in the shop.

“I felt over the moon and very appreciative that customers enjoyed their parties so much that they nominated me in this category.”

Arty Party is nominated in the Best Independent Children’s Party Entertainment or Supplier in the ‘What’s on 4 kids awards’.

Voting at 12pm on May 18 and will run until July 13.
