A DOUBLE fundraiser in Saltcoats has been a huge success, raising over £900 for two charities.
The event was organised by Councillor Jim Montgomerie and local campaigner Suzanne Fernando and raised money for The National Autistic Society Scotland and The IMC Project Group.
Suzanne described last Friday’s fundraiser at the Victoria Bar as “an absolutely fantastic night”.
She added: “Jim Montgomerie and I held a joint fundraiser for our charities before he heads off to take on the mighty Mount Everest next week and has promised to take some pics wearing our charity t-shirts too.
“My autistic daughter Jordan shared news of her online ‘JUST Jordan’ social page and newsletter and we had some volunteers helping us throughout the night too.
“A great time was had by all at the Victoria Bar in Saltcoats. We had a full house, great atmosphere and brilliant fun.
“Together with support from our friends, Jim and I raised over £900 last night so we are absolutely delighted and want to thank each and every one of you who helped make the night a success.”
