Successful litter pick at Ardrossan North Shore
A SUCCESSFUL day was had at the weekend as six litter pickers took to the shore to give it a much needed clean.
Organised by Allan Merry, the team tackled the road and car parks between Ardrossan and Seamill and took a total of 12 bags of non-recyclable litter and about five bags of recyclable stuff, mainly cans and plastic bottles.
Their next planned beach clean will take place on Sunday, June 3, meeting at the foreshore at the corner of North Crescent Road and Eglinton Road.
