Body of a man found on beach in Saltcoats
THE body of a man has been discovered on a beach in Saltcoats.
Emergency services were called shortly before 11am this morning after reports of a man's body being seen on the beach near to Harbour Point, Saltcoats close to Sandylands Caravan Park and the Highland Meats factory.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Herald: "At around 10.50am on Thursday, May 17, police were called to a report of the body of a man on the beach near to Harbour Point, Saltcoats.
"Emergency Services are at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
