THE sun shone for Hayocks Primary School’s annual beach outing recently.
Pupils from P1-P7, teachers and helpers walked from the school to the beach at Stevenston on Wednesday, May 30.
The school’s Jean Frew said: “It was a beautiful sunny day and we had great fun on the beach toasting marshmallows on a fire, building sandcastles, playing games and having beach treasure hunts.
“Everyone had a great time and we walked back to school tired and happy after eating our lunch on the grass area at Ardeer.”
