Published: 5 Feb 2009 12:30
A TEARFUL fiancé has this week appealed for this partner to come home after she vanished from a street in Saltcoats.
Margaret Grant, 25, of Stevenston had been out shopping with neighbour Janet Fisher on Wednesday, January 28 when they decided to go into Swaneybeans pub on Dockhead Street. Margaret waited outside for her friend but when Janet came out she was no where to be seen.
Margaret has been described as 5ft 8in, has shoulder length brown hair, is of a medium build and has a Glasgow accent.
Making a plea for her to come home, partner David said: "Your mum, dad and three brothers are distraught. We all just want you to come home."
