COMMUNITY GROUPS' HOME SECURED
CLASP takes charge of vital service
STEVENSTON Senior Citizens Centre reopened last week after voluntary organisation CLASP took over the management of the building.
Community groups who used the centre for years were left without a meeting place in February when previous managers Age Concern decided that running the venue was too big a task.
Several groups had to find new places for their meetings, causing disruption and commuting problems. However on Monday, June 1 the Community Led Action Support Project (CLASP) were delighted to become the new management team for the centre.
