Thieves sell salt stolen from Council on doorstep
Cheeky thieves stole council salt bins before using the loot in a moneymaking scheme.
The coldhearted gang, who took SEVEN bins from Stevenston and one from Kilbirnie over the weekend, offered to clear paths for cash.
Even the smaller bins would need at least to move them when full, according to NAC Roads officials.
