CASTLE WILL BE TOURIST ATTRACTION
SUPPORT is growing for a community run project which aims to transform Ardrossan Castle into a top tourist attraction and preserve the site for future generations in the Three Towns.
The Ardrossan Castlehill Development Group held their first public meeting on Tuesday, April 17 at the Civic Centre to take forward proposals for the development of the castle and surrounding area.
The meeting revealed that there is public support for the project and working with the community to promot the castle and its history would be beneficial to the town economically and for posterity.
