WORLD'S BEST SKATERS COME TO STEVENSTON

HIGH rollers from the world of in-line staking glided into Stevenston recently for the World Championships at Evolution Skate Park.

The third West Coast Clash was held on Sunday, June 17 and park manager Robert Paterson said each year is getting bigger and bigger as skaters from Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Spain and even Australia competed for the prize fund of £4,300.

Robert added: "Over 250 people attended and were treated to a thrilling display of skill and precision skating from our competitors."
