A GROUP of travellers set up camp on Ardrossan's North Shore on Monday and within hours of their arrival residents and politicians called for them to move on.
However one traveller claimed they are not causing any trouble and the group will stay put until they are forced to leave.
John Burns, a resident near North Shore, said he was concerned when he saw the travellers move in and is keen to see them leave the site. "I saw some of them arrive on Monday night and they just drove along the pavements with their caravans," he said.
