DEDICATION HONOURED

THE hard work and dedication of four North Ayrshire youngsters paid off when they received their gold Duke of Edinburgh award recently.

Jordan Campbell, 23, from Stevenston, Marc Donati, 18, from Kilbirnie, Darren Wright, 23, from Saltcoats, and Sarah Reid, 20, from Irvine have all completed the top award.

The group of youngsters officially collected the honour from the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip, at the Palace of Holyrood. Provost Joan Sturgeon also attended the ceremony to met the participants and present them with the North Ayrshire Council citizenship awards.
