STANLEY ROAD IS BEING 'USED LIKE A RACETRACK'
Police vow to crack down on Three Towns speeding
SPEEDSTERS are making life miserable for residents on some Ardrossan streets by driving at dangerous speeds on the roads sparking safety fears with the public.
But Strathclyde Police officers have said they have targeted areas in the Three Towns in the bid to reduce the number of speeders.
One resident of Stanley Road said he feels as though the strip is being used as a racetrack. He said: "The area along Stanley Road from the park along to the roundabout at the graveyard end is being used as a racetrack the amount of cars that are speeding is horrendous. I'm not just talking about boy racers - I'm talking about the normal family cars to."
