Trio arrested after alleged incident

THREE men have been arrested following an alleged disturbance in Ardrossan on Sunday night.

A police helicopter using a spotlight and several patrol cars were called out after an 18-year-old male ran away while officers were attempting to arrest him following an incident in Montgomerie Street.

"A search of gardents and streets in Ardrossan took place," said a police spokesman.
