A THREE Towns resident has expressed her disgust after her cat was shot with a pellet gun while in the back garden last week.
The incident occurred at night on Sunday, July 29 and the Ardrossan local woman is keen to find out if this is a one off incident or if animals are being targeted by people in acts of violence.
The cat owner, from Chapelhill Mount, said she saw the cat outside on the fence in the back garden when she came home from work on Sunday night at 9.30pm.
