CUSTOMERS of a Saltcoats supermarket woke up to an ugly surprise on Christmas Eve when they received a parking ticket after visiting the store for their shopping.
Marie O'Neill and Kenneth Ferguson spent between �166 and �200 on items for their Christmas dinner and presents for the family when they visited Aldi on December 14 and 10 respectively.
Days later the pair each received a �70 fine from parking managers ParkingEye for overstaying in the car park.
