STEVENSTON driver James Martin has been fined and had penalty points imposed after he crashed into a cyclist and injured him.
The 64-year-old, of Boglemart Street, was absent when his case was called at Kilmarnock Sheriff court last Thursday. He pleaded guilty to the charge in writing through his solicitor.
The court heard the incident occurred at about midday on January 25, at Glebe Road, Kilmarnock, when the witness was riding his bike on the road and wearing a high visibility waistcoat.
