A DALRY woman has been charged after she was caught in possession of a Class A drug.
Andrea Allmark, who resides at Lynn Avenue, was stopped in New Street, Stevenston by police officers after being found to be acting in a suspicious manner and was found to be in possession of 0.6g of diamorphine worth £10.
The court heard that Allmark was on a structured deferred sentence and Sheriff MacFarlane decided to defer this case until June 17 to call with other matters.
She said: “I would fine you but then your son would be affected but you can fritter away £10 on drugs, can’t you.”
