AN ARDROSSAN family will join hundreds of others when they set sail for a Commonwealth celebration this week.
The Bryson Family and their boat will be taking part in the Commonwealth Flotilla on Saturday (July 26) to celebrate the much-anticipated arrival of the Commonwealth Games to Glasgow.
The family – made up of Agnes Bryson, her husband Andy, son Tom and his wife Dawn – will set course for Glasgow when they leave the Clyde Marina on Friday before berthing in James Watt Dock in Greenock.
The flotilla will leave Greenock on Saturday morning where they will travel up the Clyde to Princes Dock in Glasgow for the Commonwealth celebrations.
The Bryson’s ACB 312 boat will join around 250 others in the event which is the largest in the history of the River Clyde.
Good luck to the Bryson’s from all at the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald.
