A SALTCOATS man will face trial after he denied drink driving last month in Ardrossan.
Johnathan Sneddon, 26, of Davaar Road, entered not guilty pleas on two charges when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Sneddon is accused of driving a car after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 86mg per 100ml of breath where the prescribed limit is 35mg per 100ml.
The offence is said to have occurred on August 17 near to Harbour Road in Ardrossan where Sneddon is said to have driven the car without due care and attention and struck a bollard and a boulder.
Sneddon pled not guilty and will face trial in March of next year.
