ARDROSSAN INDOOR Bowling Club are putting the finishing touches to their decorating and regeneration of the club ahead of the new season starting.

With a new sign, electrical and fire proofing, upgrade work in the function suite and new windows to boot the club is looking as good as new.

President Colin McClatchie said: “Ardrossan Indoor would like to take the opportunity to thank the Big Lottery Fund Awards For All for the grant of £8926 towards the cost of electrical and fire proofing works within the function suite.

“The club has upgraded the function suite by installing new windows, redecorating and supplying new tables and chairs.

“This complete modernisation to the function suite, we hope, will be appealing to the community at large to host weddings, birthday parties or any suitable event with the capacity of 120 people.” The suite is available to hire at no cost and this coincides with the introduction of a new social membership for the 2014/15 season which is also available free of charge.

President Colin added: “Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club would also like to thank Business Gateway for their contribution to the new club external signage.

"This has given the building a new, modern look.” Ian Caisley Decorators of Kilbirnie who carried out the decorating work would like to wish the club all the very best for the new season.
